FUSION SECURES ITS RETURN TO PHU QUOC

In a move set to redefine wellness travel in Asia, Fusion Hotel Group has announced a strategic partnership with Tropical Corporation to develop a state-of-the-art resort on Phu Quoc Island, Vietnam. Slated to open in late 2027, Fusion Resort Phu Quoc promises to be a premier destination for travelers seeking relaxation, wellness, and authentic local experiences.

Fusion Hotel Group Partners for Luxury Wellness Destination

On February 6th, Fusion Hotel Group formalized a long-term management agreement with Tropical Corporation, marking a significant milestone in its expansion across Asia. This collaboration aims to bring Fusion’s signature all-spa-inclusive wellness philosophy to Phu Quoc, Southeast Asia’s rising tourism hotspot.

Mr. Christopher Hur, CEO of Fusion Hotel Group, expressed enthusiasm about the project, emphasizing its importance in the company’s growth strategy. “This landmark development in Phu Quoc reflects our commitment to delivering personalized, wellness-focused travel experiences in Asia,” he stated.

The new Fusion Resort will be situated along Bai Truong, one of Phu Quoc’s most beautiful beachfronts. With proximity to Phu Quoc International Airport, the resort offers convenient access for international travelers exploring Asia’s diverse travel destinations.

The resort will feature 51 luxurious villas and 158 rooms, all designed to blend seamlessly with the island’s natural beauty. Facilities will include specialty restaurants, bars, meeting spaces, a kids’ club, Maia Spa, an infinity pool, and a dedicated beach club, making it ideal for both leisure and event travel.

A New Standard in Wellness Travel in Asia

Fusion Resort Phu Quoc will showcase the brand’s renowned wellness concept, featuring Maia Spa with all-spa-inclusive packages, and personalized guest services delivered by dedicated staff known as Fusionistas. Guests can enjoy the unique “breakfast anywhere, anytime” service, along with tailored experiences that promote relaxation and rejuvenation.

This development aligns with the growing trend of wellness tourism in Asia, particularly in Vietnam, which is rapidly emerging as a key destination for health-conscious travelers seeking balanced and immersive experiences.

Expected Opening and Future Opportunities

Scheduled to open in the fourth quarter of 2027, Fusion Resort Phu Quoc is poised to become a hub for international events, wellness retreats, and luxury travel in Asia. The resort’s focus on sustainability and quality service will appeal to discerning travelers looking for authentic, meaningful experiences at new and exciting destinations.

Mr. Tran Van Son, Chairman of Tropical Corporation, highlighted the project’s vision: “Both parties are committed to quality, sustainability, and creating lasting value, reflecting the booming growth of the wellness resort segment in Phu Quoc and Asia’s broader tourism industry.”
