The Hari Hong Kong Clinches Spot on Condé Nast Traveller List

The Hari Hong Kong has been named among the top four hotels in Hong Kong by voters in the Condé Nast Traveller 2026 Readers’ Choice Awards. Standing 30 storeys tall on Lockhart Road in Wan Chai, one of Hong Kong’s oldest and most eclectic districts, the elegant hotel achieved an outstanding score of 97.87 in the UK edition of the awards. The full list of winners in Asia, revealed on October 6 this year, can be found here.

In its overview of the Asian winners, Conde Nast Traveller also singled out The Hari Hong Kong for its remarkable design, stating the hotel “wowed for its origami-like looks” – a nod to the striking interiors at contemporary Japanese restaurant Zoku.

The latest recognition follows The Hari Hong Kong’s success in the Condé Nast Traveler US 2025 Readers’ Choice Awards, when the hotel made its debut on the coveted list at No. 3 among the best hotels in Hong Kong and Macau.

The Hari Hong Kong’s general manager Edward E. Snoeks said recognition from readers of both the Condé Nast Traveller UK and Condé Nast Traveler US Readers’ Choice Awards in consecutive years underscored the hotel’s growing international reputation and standing among the city’s leading luxury hotels.

“We are immensely proud to be named by Condé Nast Traveller UK readers as one of Hong Kong’s top hotels this year, following our No. 3 ranking in the US Readers’ Choice Awards last year,” said Snoeks. “To receive such strong recognition from travellers on both sides of the Atlantic is a tremendous honour and a testament to our entire team’s genuine, heartfelt hospitality.”

The annual Readers’ Choice Awards are among the travel industry’s most respected accolades, celebrating the hotels, resorts, cities, islands and travel experiences most highly rated by Condé Nast Traveller readers.

Sister hotel to The Hari London, The Hari Hong Kong is the brainchild of Dr Aron Harilela, Chairman and CEO of Harilela Hotels Ltd., whose family has a longstanding legacy in Hong Kong. The hotel bears the stamp of acclaimed British interior designer Tara Bernerd and comprises 210 guest rooms, including three signature rooftop suites with terraces offering stunning views of Wan Chai, Causeway Bay, The Peak and Victoria Harbour.

The hotel’s diverse dining landscape includes contemporary Italian ristorante Lucciola, Zoku with a ceiling of angled timber slats in origami-like forms, alfresco terrace bar aptly named The Terrace and The Lounge, and an all-day sitting area adorned with a compelling collection of books and artworks.

The Hari Singapore, the third hotel in The Hari portfolio after The Hari London and The Hari Hong Kong, will open early next year on Cavenagh Road, just off Orchard Road, Singapore’s famous shopping boulevard, and steps from the heritage shophouses of Emerald Hill.
