Laguna Phuket, Asia’s premier integrated destination, has joined hands with Phuket-based event management company Works.com to bring Laguna Beach Festival to Laguna Phuket’s beachfront. Taking place on Sunday, 4 December and Monday, 5 December 2022 from noon till late, the free festival will pack in a programme of exciting events ranging from kite shows and wellness activities to live entertainment, family workshops and market-style food stalls.
Set across three zones – Beach Market, Wellbeing Deck and Lagoon Stage – the festival promises an exciting day time at the beach for both thrill-seekers and sun-worshipers. At the Beach Market, running from 12:00 pm to 7:00 pm, visitors will be invited to sample local flavours from numerous vendors and shop for handmade goods from Phuket makers, while over at the Wellbeing Deck guests can attend TechnoGym-sponsored boot camps, breathwork and stretching classes with Banyan Tree Veya practitioners, and yoga classes with the Angsana Laguna Phuket team. As limited spots are available, advance booking is required. For live sunset and after-dark gigs, visitors are invited to the Lagoon Stage in Laguna Grove where popular Thai rock artists Palaphol, Bodyslam and Nont Tanont will be entertaining the festival-goers from 5:00 pm till 11:00 pm on both days.
Known as Laguna Beach, Angsana Laguna Phuket’s pristine beachfront is the only integrated beachside location in Phuket to offer both sea and lagoon-based water sports year-round in one place. Following an extensive renovation, Laguna Beach has recently reopened with welcoming rows of sunbeds set across manicured lawns, a stunning XANA swimming pool with a pool bar, private cabanas, beach umbrellas, day lockers and changing rooms, as well as beachside massage stalls and an expansive sports centre offering sailing, kayaking, paddle boarding, jet skis, CrossFit, plus beach volleyball and much more.
Additionally, resort guests and Laguna Beach day visitors can enjoy four distinctive restaurant and bar experiences, including floating dining in the lagoon, authentic Italian and private picnics, all offering family-friendly menus. Laguna Beach Festival 2022 is free and open to the public. VIP tickets for the Lagoon Stage are available and can be collected at the Beach Market during the day, first come first served!
