Charlotte Travel,
Hong Kong-based luxury travel curator with 25 years of expertise in designing bespoke journeys, has opened its Singapore office. The expansion responds to growing demand from the company’s Asia-Pacific clientele for sophisticated and exclusive travel curation around the globe, and positions Charlotte Travel to serve the region’s discerning travellers who prioritize cultural depth, insider access, and personalized service.
The Singapore office, led by Managing Director, Louen Tang and Executive, Adeline Wan, marks Charlotte Travel’s strategic evolution from a Hong Kong institution to a regional luxury authority serving Asia-Pacific’s most savvy travellers.
A Heritage of Human-Centred Travel
Founded in Hong Kong in 2001 by Jackie Harris, Charlotte Travel has built a loyal following among high-net-worth families, senior executives, and experienced travellers across Asia and beyond. In 2014, Charlotte Harris joined the business to master the trade, eventually ascending to the role of CEO in 2024. She evolves the family-run company to its next phase while deepening its founding principle: that meaningful travel is built on human relationships, where advisors anticipate clients’ desires and craft journeys through personal understanding and a true connection to place.
This mother-daughter leadership has both shaped and reflected a broader transformation in luxury travel. As women increasingly influence family travel decisions and plan their own milestone journeys, the industry’s priorities are shifting—favouring cultural depth over status symbols, meaningful experiences over exhausting itineraries, and authentic connection over performative travel. Charlotte Travel has successfully positioned the company at the forefront of this evolution, designing journeys with emotional intelligence, intentionality, and a nuanced understanding of what modern travellers seek.
Travel Designed for Women, By Women

As women increasingly seek transformative travel experiences that honour their unique needs, Charlotte Travel has developed specialized women-centric itineraries. One of the company’s signature is the India journey where they invite sophisticated women on a 7-night immersive exploration, combining insider access to Delhi’s ateliers, Agra’s jewel houses, and Jaipur’s artisan workshops with restorative Ayurvedic wellness at Amanbagh—creating space for both cultural discovery and personal renewal through mindful exploration, intimate conversations, and twilight reflections under starlit skies.
Charlotte Travel has also designed and curated the exclusive RXV Executive Women’s Wellness Retreat at RXV Wellness Village in Thailand (March-April 2026), a groundbreaking 3- or 5-night program purpose-built for women navigating pre/peri/menopause. This executive retreat features personalized medical consultations, hormone-rebalancing treatments, curated wellness cuisine, and restorative therapies—addressing a life stage often overlooked in mainstream travel. With flexible stays designed for busy schedules, the retreat pairs medical-grade wellness with luxury comfort, allowing high-achieving women to truly exhale.
Beyond Algorithms: The Charlotte Travel Approach
Charlotte Travel’s model has grown more relevant as travel planning has become increasingly automated. While algorithms and social media offer endless information, Charlotte Travel provides what technology cannot: judgment, discernment, and access built on 25 years of global relationships.
“Information is no longer the luxury. Judgment, insight, and access are,” according to Charlotte Harris. “Algorithms can suggest, but they cannot understand a traveller’s unspoken needs or a family’s dynamic. Our clients don’t lack options. They need someone who understands their family dynamics, their values, and can craft experiences that aren’t available through conventional channels and only available through relationships.”
This approach is built on three pillars: Bespoke by Design, Insider Access, and Trusted Expertise. Consultations consist of multiple conversations learning about the client’s needs, including exploring pace, cultural interests, and unspoken preferences. Charlotte Travel then designs highly tailored itineraries that include private access to London’s King’s Horse Guards, intimate wine dinners with winemakers in China’s emerging regions, multi-generational safaris with gorilla trekking, exclusive dinners in Tokyo chayas, and private pre-opening tours of the Egyptian Museum. Long-stay journeys through the Caucasus, Albania, Greece, Ireland, and Portugal provide deep cultural immersion, while private celebrations feature exclusive chalet buyouts and experiences such as frozen-lake race car driving in Finland.
Singapore as a Regional Hub

Charlotte Harris and Louen Tang
The Singapore expansion reflects three strategic factors: growing demand from existing clients within Southeast Asia for sophisticated curation of regional and international travel; Singapore’s position as a mature luxury hub and home to discerning travellers who value discretion, expertise, and authenticity; and the 25th anniversary milestone that reinforces Charlotte Travel’s proven expertise as it enters this new chapter.
“We’re following our long-term clients who encouraged us to expand into the region and be where they are,” says Louen Tang, Managing Director. “This is about delivering the trusted and personalized expertise they’ve had for 25 years, now with local presence and insight.”
The Singapore office will curate bespoke itineraries globally while providing deep curation within Asia and emerging destinations such as Portugal and Rwanda, alongside classic grand tours. The focus: multi-generational family travel, sophisticated business-leisure integration, and privileged access to rare cultural experiences. To mark its 25th anniversary,
Charlotte Travel will introduce “Charlotte’s Table”: intimate themed gatherings curated by Charlotte Travel and a Singapore exclusive in partnership with private members clubs and lounges, marking the next step in the company’s evolution as the company establishes its presence in Singapore.
