Bhutan’s Paro Tshechu Mega Music Festival

Bhutan’s Paro Tshechu Mega Music Festival

For the first time ever in Bhutan, a mega entertainment event will be held alongside the annual Paro Tshechu this year. The annual Paro Tshechu is held at the beautiful and sacred Rinpung Dzong in Paro. Besides the tshechu festival which will feature various mask dances and traditional Bhutanese folk music, the mega carnival event will happen simultaneously at the Moenlam Chenmo ground in Paro town from 1st to 6th April.

Visitors attending the mega music fest will have the opportunity to experience and enjoy various kinds of drinks, food including barbecue, and games. There will also be different kinds of stalls that showcase diverse culture, food and textiles from different regions. The event is aimed towards bringing both local communities and foreign visitors together to experience and promote Bhutanese culture, music and art. It is also an opportunity for the local communities to embrace and celebrate their diversity.
