A Spanish-Inspired Celebration by the Sea

LAY Beach Club, which has already established a reputation as “the place to be” on Pattaya’s shoreline, is gearing up to celebrate its first anniversary with Spanish flair and fare

On Saturday, March 14, from 6:00 PM to 10:00 PM, LAY Beach Club will host “Sabores del Mar” (Flavours of the Sea)—an evening dedicated to showcasing the best of Spanish and Mediterranean cuisine. The event promises an immersive experience with live cooking stations, traditional dishes, and vibrant entertainment, making it a must-visit for those exploring the best of Thailand and Asia.

Culinary Delights from Renowned Chefs

The celebration will feature talented chefs William Stringfellow, Juan Ignacio “Nacho” García Racionero, and Lluis Cantons, representing prestigious hotels such as Meliá Pattaya, INNSiDE by Meliá Bangkok Sukhumvit, and Meliá Koh Samui. Guests can savor authentic Spanish tapas and Mediterranean dishes prepared live at various stations, including:

  • Patatas Bravas (spicy potatoes)
  • Paella de Marisco (seafood paella)
  • Gambas al Ajillo (Spanish garlic shrimp)
  • Fideua Capellini (Spanish angel hair pasta)

The club will welcome chefs from Meliá Pattaya Hotel, INNSiDE by Meliá Bangkok Sukhumvit and Meliá Koh Samui to showcase Spanish tapas and Mediterranean dishes

These dishes will be perfectly paired with Spanish sparkling wine, white, and red wines, creating an authentic taste of Spain right on the Gulf of Thailand.

Entertainment and Atmosphere

The evening will feature a dazzling fire show packed with high-impact tricks and choreography, adding a touch of excitement to the celebration. Dress code for the event is “blue and white sunset chic,” reflecting the colors of the sea and sky at sunset.

Set against the backdrop of Pattaya’s stunning coastline, LAY Beach Club offers a luxurious ambiance, with a unique hydro bar—an elegant cocktail pool where water seamlessly merges with the ocean, dotted with submerged loungers. The venue’s Mediterranean-inspired decor extends to a spacious lounge and bar area, capable of hosting nearly 250 guests, with a spectacular rooftop lounge that offers panoramic views for up to 300 guests during evening events.
