The 18th edition of the Michelin Guide Hong Kong & Macau has unveiled its highly anticipated Bib Gourmand awardees, recognizing restaurants that offer exceptional quality at accessible prices. The full list will be officially announced during the Michelin Guide Hong Kong & Macau 2026 ceremony on March 19, 2026, with digital publication available on Michelin’s website and app.

This year, eight new establishments have earned the Bib Gourmand distinction—six in Hong Kong and two in Macau—bringing the total to 83 across both regions: 70 in Hong Kong and 13 in Macau. These acclaimed eateries exemplify the rich diversity of Asia’s culinary landscape, from traditional Cantonese dishes to innovative fusion cuisines.

Hong Kong’s New Bib Gourmand Restaurants

1. Dragons’ Den (Reopened as Dragons’ Den)

Hidden in a shopping mall at the foot of Lion Rock, this restaurant pays homage to Cantonese classics with a retro and mid-century modern decor. Signature dishes include baked egg omelette with fish tripe, smoked squab (dry-aged and pear wood smoked), and popular dim sum selections. Certain seafood and barbecue dishes require pre-ordering, making it a favorite for authentic local flavors.

2. Fiata

A slice of Italy in Hong Kong, Fiata specializes in Neapolitan pizzas crafted by a Southern Italian chef using DOP ingredients. The standout provola e pepe pizza features smoky mozzarella, fresh tomatoes, and a peppery kick, served on a light, chewy crust — perfect for pizza lovers exploring Asia’s culinary scene.

3. Ho Ho Chak

Named after the Teochew word for ‘delicious’, this Chiu Chow eatery run by three brothers offers top-quality seafood and traditional dishes like steamed pork patties with mud crab and fried omelette with dried radish and ground pork. They also engage in wholesale seafood and fruit, ensuring ingredient freshness.

4. Lai’s Kitchen

Paying homage to Hong Kong’s dai pai dong street food culture, Lai’s Kitchen features neon-lit signage and a casual vibe. The menu offers stir-fries, claypot rice, and the famous three-treasure claypot rice with pork sausage, goose liver sausage, and salted pork belly. The tea-scented crispy chicken is also highly recommended.

5. Siaw

Served from 6-11pm, the ‘Four Courses of Love’ menu begins with a trio of delicacies called “Love’s Samplers”, comprising fragrant crabmeat salad on rice puff, meing betel leaf wrapped caramelised pork, and dried catfish stuffed in red onion. LUZ Bangkok Tapas Bar, which commands INNSiDE By Meliá Bangkok Sukhumvit’s two uppermost floors, the 33^rd and 34^th levels, with panoramic views of the Bangkok skyline, will offer couples a romantic four-course tapas menu on February 14. Offered across two seatings from 5-8pm and 8.30pm until late, the menu begins with fresh oysters, pineapple chutney and Basque chili, followed by Wagyu tenderloin tartar with brown anchovies, Spanish pickles and duck egg yolk. Stretch and Connect at a Wellness Resort in Vietnam

TIA Wellness Resort’s Valentine’s Day activities invite guests to slow down, be present and connect in meaningful ways from partner yoga to a love language workshop. At the resort’s wellness studio on the 14th & 15th of February guests can take part in a playful partner yoga session from 11-12pm. The Hari Hong Kong has achieved ‘EarthCheck Silver status’ in recognition of its broad spectrum of sustainability initiatives, placing the Wan Chai hotel among the globe’s most eco-friendly travel and tourism operators. To achieve and maintain Silver Certified accreditation with EarthCheck, the world’s leading scientific benchmarking, certification and advisory group, the hotel must be independently audited annually and meet stringent requirements across key performance areas.

The hotel’s potable water consumption for the audited year of 2024 was 204.2L per guest night. That figure is just over half of the regional average of 361L per guest night, and below what EarthCheck deems the “regional leader” level – meaning exemplary standard of performance for the type and location of an operation – at 253L per guest night.

The Hari Hong Kong’s energy consumption per guest night was 101.15 MJ for 2024, almost half the regional average of 180.3 MJ per guest night and also below the regional leader level of 126MJ per guest night. During the same timeframe, the hotel sent 3.37L of waste to landfill per guest night, just over a third of the regional average of 9.01L per guest night and almost half of the regional leader level of 6.31L per guest night.

The hotel’s greenhouse gas emissions for the audited year of 2024 were 18.33kg CO2-e per guest night, sitting right at the regional leader level and under the regional average of 25kg CO2-e per guest night.

Other performance highlights during the audited year include, due to the hotel’s ban on single use plastics, the avoidance of an estimated 109,878 500ml plastic bottles and 47,767 30ml bathroom amenities bottles.

The Hari Hong Kong, which opened in December 2020 in the heart of Wan Chai, was established through sustainable design and construction which sought to reduce negative impacts on the environment. The hotel is also a LEED (Silver), BEAM Plus (Silver) and BEEO certified hotel in recognition for its sustainable design, construction and energy efficiency performance.

“We are continually striving to improve our performance in environmental and social sustainability across everything we do, ranging from our energy and water conservation efforts to responsible purchasing, local employment and community support,” said the hotel’s General Manager Edward E. Snoeks.

The hotel works with Green Island Cement on its ShellCem Project to collect and upcycle oyster shells and other seashells such as mussel and scallop shells into cement.

A green wall on the facade of the hotel’s second floor terrace, that stretches three stories high, contributes positively to the environment by helping to reduce the temperature of surrounding areas.

The Hari Hong Kong has partnered with White Cube Hong Kong, to share a selection of works from ‘Thresholds,’ a group exhibition featuring the work of contemporary artists whose practices are rooted in or connected to Indonesia. Through a diverse range of mediums, the temporary exhibition explores the interwoven cycles of life, death and transformation, with a focus on themes of ritual, spirituality, and reincarnation. Artworks will be on display at the hotel until 31 March 2026.

The Lounge at The Hari Hong Kong

To celebrate the exhibition, The Hari Hong Kong is offering menu specials inspired by Indonesian cuisine. At The Lounge, one of the public spaces where ‘Thresholds’ adorns the walls, visitors can enjoy dishes such as chicken karaage wrapped in pandan leaf, or pandan coconut panna cotta. These can be enjoyed alongside the Threshold Special, a pandan-flavoured cocktail or mocktail. The pandan leaf, a staple in Indonesian cooking, adds a sweet aroma and vibrant green colour to the limited-time dishes and drinks. The pandan leaf also holds spiritual significance. Known as a symbol of purity, the leaf is often used for the woven basket of Canang Sari, daily offerings.

Christine Ay Tjoe – Always Floating In A Constant Distance

Curated by Galuh Sukardi, an independent curator based in Indonesia, ‘Thresholds’ brings together painting, sculpture, textile, drawing and silverware by multigenerational artists: Galuh Anindita, Arahmaiani, Christine Ay Tjoe, Nadiah Bamadhaj, Kei Imazu, Ines Katamso, I Gusti Ayu Kadek Murniasih (Murni), Citra Sasmita and Jennifer Tee.

Each artist charts their own individual journey of transformation: spiritual, political, physical or mythological. Forming a chorus of unique experiences, each shaped by the crossing of a ‘threshold’, the works selected reflect an understanding of the coexistence of light and dark; a dynamic whereby opposite forces are not at odds but held in balance.

Pandan-flavoured drinks and chicken karaage wrapped in pandan leaf

Rooted in Indonesian traditions, and amid contemporary ecological, spiritual and social fractures, the exhibition takes the concept of the black-and-white Balinese poleng cloth as a point of a departure. Traditionally used to adorn statues, shrines and sacred trees, the cloth’s bold, criss-crossing pattern symbolises a harmony of opposites.

‘Thresholds’ at The Hari Hong Kong extends White Cube’s collaboration with the hotel through their annual The Hari Art Prize, which originated in The Hari London, with Irene Bradbury, Global Director, Artist Liaison at White Cube, serving on the judging panel for the London prize. In 2023, The Hari Hong Kong introduced this event, now in its third year.  Wendy Xu, Managing Director, Asia at White Cube, is part of the judging panel for The Hari Art Prize 2026 in Hong Kong.

‘Thresholds, curated by Galuh Sukardi’ is on view at White Cube Hong Kong until 10 January 2026. Concurrently, the exhibition extends to The Hari Hong Kong until 31 March 2026.

Executive Chef, Marco Quarta from il Pampero at The Hari London, will be joining sister property, The Hari Hong Kong for a chef takeover at Lucciola this November. The talented Italian chef will showcase his culinary flair through a limited-time lunch set menu with his signature creations weaved into the menu from November 11th – 14th. On the evening of November 14th Chef Marco will take over the kitchen with a one-time four-course dinner menu.

Chef Marco’s extensive culinary experience spans decades. Born and raised in Puglia, trained in Brindisi, and having honed his skills in several top London restaurants, the Italian chef has had a diverse career. He has held coveted positions including as sous chef at The Savoy, and head chef positions at Courthouse Hotel Shoreditch and The Punchbowl in Mayfair. Prior to joining The Hari London in April this year, he was executive chef at The Dixon Hotel. He has worked alongside Michelin-starred chefs and has even served as a private chef to Arab Royalty.

From November 11th – 14th, Lucciola will be showcasing two of Chef Marco’s most popular dishes on the lunch set menu: Cappesante Arrostite, Mele & Cavolfiore, Prosciutto di Parma (roasted scallops with golden apple and cauliflower purée and crispy Parma ham), and Orecchiette con Cime di Rapa e Tarallo Pugliese (orecchiette pasta with rapini and an apulian tarallo crumb), alongside their regular menu. Prices start at HKD288 for the choice of two courses.

For the November 14th Guest Shift feast prepared by Chef Marco, guests will enjoy a selection of dishes that draw from his rich culinary heritage. These include Arancino Tartufato (black truffle Sicilian rice balls) and a starter of Cappesante Arrostite, Mele & Cavolfiore, Prosciutto di Parma paired with Prosecco, for those who opt for wine pairing. The pasta course is Orecchiette con Cime di Rapa e Tarallo Pugliese matched with a chardonnay.

The Hari Lucciola Interior

For the main affair dinner, guests have two choices: Ippoglosso al Vapore con Fregola, Crema di Topinambur e Funghi Gallinacci (poached halibut, Jerusalem artichoke purée, fregola and chanterelle mushrooms) with a Pinot Grigio or Costolette di Agnello in Crosta d’Erbe (a herb-crusted lamb rack, potato confit, roasted heritage beetroot, broccoli velouté, with a rosemary jus) and a glass of Montepulciano d’Abruzzo. The conclusion of the multi-course meal is a sweet treat: Baba’ al Limone con Crema Chantilly (Neapolitan lemon baba’, chantilly cream and mixed berries) and a glass of Moscato d’Asti. The course menu is HKD 688 per person, including coffee or tea or HKD 988 with Italian wine pairing.

From November 15th – 30th, a selection of Chef Marco’s signature dishes will feature as options on the Lucciola Cena Conviviale set dinner menu.
