Il Lago Chagan è uno dei più grandi laghi d’acqua dolce della Cina; ogni anno, il Festival Invernale di Pesca del Lago Chagan si tiene nella città di Songyuan, nella provincia del Jilin, nel nordest della Cina, nel periodo che va dalla fine di dicembre all’inizio di gennaio. I metodi tradizionali di pesca della regione hanno cominciato ad attirare un numero crescente di turisti provenienti da tutte le parti della Cina, e questo festival è una vera manna per la gente del nord.
