<p>Mount Faber Leisure Group (MFLG) announced today that starting mid-November 2025, 13 new SkyOrb cabins will be added to the Singapore Cable Car’s Mount Faber Line, bringing the total fleet to twenty. This expansion follows the positive response to the initial seven cabins, making the SkyOrb experience more accessible to visitors. As part of the group’s vision to deliver cutting-edge, experiential attractions, the expanded fleet now enables a full round-trip journey on the Mount Faber Line—connecting mainland Singapore to Sentosa—replacing the previous one-way rides and greatly increasing capacity. Introducing the World’s First SkyOrb Cabin Unveiled in March 2024, the SkyOrb Cabin is the world’s first chrome-finished spherical cable car. Designed in Olten, Switzerland, these fifth-generation cabins feature illuminated rings on both sides, creating a sleek, futuristic chrome aesthetic that enhances Singapore’s skyline. The spherical design offers a striking departure from conventional cabins. Each cabin features glass floors, providing visitors with panoramic views of the scenery below and the skyline ahead. For comfort, the cabins are equipped with double louvered windows at the front and triple at the rear, ensuring excellent air ventilation during the ride from Mount Faber Station to Sentosa. Strong Reception Spurs Expansion Since their debut to mark Singapore Cable Car’s 50th anniversary in March 2024, the SkyOrb cabins have been well received for their innovation and design. Tripling the fleet to twenty cabins demonstrates the strong demand and Mount Faber Leisure Group’s dedication to refreshing its offerings, catering to evolving guest preferences, and driving tourism innovation. With this expansion, Singapore Cable Car aims to remain a top choice for both locals and tourists seeking memorable, world-class experiences. Buhdy Bok, Managing Director of Mount Faber Leisure Group, stated, “The SkyOrb fleet expansion reflects our commitment to enhancing visitor experiences and supporting the transformation of the Greater Southern Waterfront. By increasing our cabins, we can welcome more guests and continue contributing to Singapore’s vibrant tourism scene.” Special $60 Promotion for Two From October 6 to November 5, 2025, the Singapore Cable Car will offer an exclusive online promotion: round-trip SkyOrb cabins for 2 at just $60 (U.P. $96). This limited-time deal celebrates SG60 and is available exclusively via Mount Faber Leisure Group’s official website.
