Set on a great beachfront plot in the hearth of Jimbaran, Bali, Keraton Jimbaran Beach Resort is an elegant property that honors Bali’s cultural and artistic legacy. Keraton Jimbaran Beach Resort is set within a mature and well-manicured tropical garden and has direct access to the white sands of Jimbaran Bay. I stayed there a few nights and I really managed to unwind in the hotel’s exotic setting a world away from the trappings of mainstream tourism. I had a great rest, enjoyed their beach chairs to the fullest, and took each new day simply as it came. I was stunned by the charm and ambience of this resort built in traditional Balinese style, with a beautiful architecture that made it resemble a fine Balinese village. Hand-carved wooden doors and delicate features showcases a fine handicraft work easy to appreciate to those who come to Bali to enjoy the local character. Keraton Jimbaran Beach Resort collection of 102 spacious and well appointed guest rooms and private villas is elegant and boutique style. All rooms boast private all-marble bathroom, balcony or terrace, air conditioning and satellite TV with International channels, safety box, minibar, hair dryer and room service. My room was also traditional in design with beautifully carved wood decorated all corners of the room. The well-kept gardens were absolutely gorgeous and included a collection of cute bonsai trees, scattered amongst the bungalows, with some of them dating back to before I was even born. So intriguing. The walk through the garden takes to the pool and beach areas; the manicured lawn is the gateway to a huge free-form pool with a great swim-up pool bar that offered great 4-6pm happy hour. The hotel enchanting Le Spa is located besides the pool and it offers a carefully crafted menu of relaxation therapies and beauty rituals. Walking further towards the beach, you encounter Keraton Jimbaran Beach Resort Joglo Restaurant, where you can choose from a wide range of signature dishes, from local delights to International cuisine, for a tasteful culinary journey. It is here that the breakfast buffet is served daily. Keraton Jimbaran Beach Resort is close enough to Denpasar international airport, and it offers a free shuttle to Kuta.
