<p>Strategically located in the middle of Kota Bahru, north-east of peninsular Malaysia, My Place Guest House is a double storey house that has been renovated into an accommodation for visitors, and is indeed one budget place to stay we can recommend. My Place Guest House has been decorated with pictures of late people who still have a significant value towards the society today, like Albert Einstein, John Lennon and Mao Zedong; add this to the retro classic look of its furniture and the old fashioned paraphernalia, and you have a place that projects you back to the 70s. 38-years old owner’s Mr Hasanuddin Ruslan, aka Deen, has a passion for travel and believes everyone have the right to go places, regardless the budget. It is with this in mind that he established My Place Guest House in 2010, to fill a gap and create affordable accommodation in Kota Bahru for budget-minded people. Most of his clients are European, but he also hosts local and Asian travelers and backpackers.
