This 2-day event was organised by the Penang State Government in order for visitors to have a one-of-a-kind experience. The inaugural Hot Air Balloon Fiesta held in 2015 saw over 100,000 visitors from around the region and abroad, and this year was nothing short of that.

Aside from the balloon displays, there were lots of activities, like cold inflation where visitors could walk into a balloon envelope that was being filled with cold air as it lied on the ground, as well as a day and night food fair that served any kind of filling meals and drinks.

In the evenings, there was ‘night glow’ shows, free flying balloons and other side activities and entertainment, organised throughout the event.
