Paradesa Borneo Adventure, established in 2013, offers Paradesa Brands of tourism experience for visitors to Borneo, new and pioneering tourism experience to the Malaysian Borneo area. Their signatory and pioneering bicycle tour in Kuching is the first starting point.
Director JC Chua recently returned home after more than 30 years of oversea studying, backpacking and exploring in Europe, US and Asia, soaking in different experiences, cultures, food, outdoor discoveries, wild adventures and meeting travellers from all walks of life. Most notably, he spent the past 15 years working in the tourist boom town of Yangshuo in China, where most sightseeing and adventurous activities such as mountain biking, hiking climbing, caving and kayaking was virtually just outside the doorstep of the resort he managed, the Paradesa Yangshuo Resort! Participating in these outdoor activities and drinking obscene amount of rice wine was the reason how he managed to remain sane in China for so many years! He is now back in Borneo and loves the great diversity of outdoor activities here, that many locals like him take for granted.
Realizing these outdoor discoveries has become his passion and excuse for going out and mixing pleasure with work. That’s why he has decided to mortgage his children’s education fund to start this tour business and hope to share the discovery of Borneo with all. Open up your senses to authentic Sarawak: exciting on and off road cycling tours, hiking, kayaking and many other local tours.
Paradesa Borneo Adventure office shop is conveniently located in the middle of the Kuching heritage district and has a chill out cafe with self-serving value refreshments and nourishment, free internet and free wifi, free information desk, and an amazing hang-out floor with free games and activities, as well as rooms for rent.
