Internationally renowned and award-winning architecture and interior design company, Steve Leung Design Group (SLD) has joined hands with Henry Fok Ying Tung Group to present its latest residential design, Green Shore, a high-end residential project in Guangzhou. The highly anticipated show flat is now ready to reveal its glamour. Located at the tip of Luoxi Island in Panyu, Guangzhou, the luxury residence is embraced by the Pearl River on three sides, offering panoramic views of the stunning scenery. While this is the first project of Henry Fok Ying Tung Group to rise in the heart of the city, the only 16 exquisite apartments each spanning approximately 480 sqm have made an impressive debut. The design concept “Poetic Urban Living” is conveyed through a de-stylized approach that encourages homeowners to have an intimate dialogue with nature. The design highlights the expansive views of the river and greenery, while artfully integrating elegant garden greens and resident-oriented elements. This exceptional penthouse offers residents a tranquil, timeless and comfortable living space, one that is perfect for the families of young entrepreneurs and business leaders to reside in. Tranquil Island Dwelling in the City: An Elevated Lifestyle and Vision Dedicated to Guangzhou The developer and designer share the same vision to elevate the living environment for Guangzhou residents to the next level by introducing a brand-new living style in the center of the city. Characterized by a thoughtful layout, the spaces have been meticulously planned to ensure a seamless and flexible flow, while ensuring the spatial fluidity between the indoors and outdoors. The overall design is accentuated by a neutral wood tone, complemented by olive green hues throughout various areas, bringing the refreshing greenery from the outdoors into the interior and creating a tranquil and natural island dwelling ambience. Upon stepping out of the elevator to the exclusive lobby elevated as an in-home garden, its wall is adorned with Opera d’Arte marble originating from France, featuring shades of classic French emerald green with playful touches of pink. The rich tones and layered textures found in nature serve as genuine works of art, inspiring the designer to bring the beauty of nature into the home. The vibrant balcony on the left exudes natural vitality. Resting on the comfy sofa, this space offers homeowners a picturesque view of the Pearl River and leads into the living room. With the post-pandemic observation in mind, the designer incorporated a spacious entry closet with a washbasin set on the right side of the entrance, which ensures cleanliness upon entering or leaving the home, and allows homeowners to freshen up before entering the living area. Exclusive Breathtaking 180° Pearl River View From the 16-meter Balcony Linking with the Multifunctional Living Space The interior features different social spaces with smooth circulation, and seamlessly connects to a spacious 16-meter balcony offering a breathtaking 180° view of the river, which echoes nature. In addition to the living and dining areas, a semi-open partition wall further divides the social space into a multi-functional lounge and a tea area, creating a smooth connection between the two areas. This spacious and versatile environment enhances the homeowners’ living experiences with family and friends. The TV wall in the living room crafted from Swiss Alps Emerald stone embodies a unique texture that is luxurious but humble at the same time. The cabinetry in the multi-functional lounge is accented with Bvlgari marble from Italy, which gives a natural elegance. This open area is furnished with a long table and chairs, catering to the daily dining needs of the homeowners. Meanwhile, the lounge area is equipped with the Arclinea double-door wine cabinet, a top-tier Italian brand, creating a modest yet luxurious space for social activities and entertainment. Both the kitchen and the adjoining workspace feature the same Bvlgari marble and cabinets with a distinctive colour tone, allowing the two areas to blend naturally together as one entity. The design choice not only gives more visual space but also adds a touch of extravagance to this area. Embracing 270° Sunset Views in the Master Suite and the Splendour of the Four Bedrooms The apartment features four bedrooms – a master suite, a secondary master suite, a children’s room and a guest room. The entrance of the master bedroom suite is flanked by an exquisite walk-in double closet equipped with practical functions. The living room features a sleek and elegant combination sofa from TURRI, an Italian luxury handmade furniture manufacturer, in a soft beige hue. The olive-green armchair is seated on the scenic balcony, a masterpiece of the Italian brand Molteni&C, known as the “Love Chair,” exhibiting its elegant curves. The colours and lines of the sofa and armchair complement each other perfectly, creating a harmonious and stylish atmosphere. The dining room is dominated by a soft beige colour tone, with a marble dining table paired with the elegant butterfly-shaped dining chairs from the Chinese brand Banlan. Above the table hangs a modern lantern-shaped pendant light with a delicate lampshade made from Japanese washi paper. Next to the dining area is a half-partition wall adorned with prints by the emerging artist Didi Wu, depicting a lush green island that symbolizes the vitality of nature and echoes with the location. This adds a touch of poetry to the neat and elegant dining space. The furniture in the tea area is from a Chinese brand Sureeco, featuring a modern oriental style. Following the philosophy of Chinese traditional art that emphasizes the importance of negative space, the wooden sculptures create a serene atmosphere ideal for meditation and tea drinking. In the master suite, a double bed from the high-end Italian brand GIORGETTI’s KAO series, exemplifies timeless elegance and modern aesthetics.

Business opportunities in China are very diverse and lucrative, explaining why many multinational companies are flocking the Asian economic giant every year. But even as many as the opportunities could be, you need to understand how the nation’s economy operates and the various demographics that define the economy if you are to succeed in business here. Before you register your business in China, you need to understand the differences between the eastern, central, and western provinces. You also need to understand which cities have the wealthiest people and which once are developing at a faster rate than others. China’s economy is more of a collection of many small economies, each economy representing a specific region or a specific class of people. Most of China’s wealthiest cities and manufacturing industries are in the eastern provinces while central China boasts of the most agriculture-based ventures. The east coast, in particular, has the most thriving economy and wealthiest private citizens. The western cities aren’t as developed as the rest of China, although low-end manufacturing plants are gradually opening shops there. But, surprisingly, this is the region with the most natural wealth, meaning that it is just a matter of time before tourism and travel businesses start to boom. How to Pick the Right Business Location in China Your business stands a better chance to succeed if you get the perfect location for it. From the onset, it will help if you understand the economies of Shanghai, Beijing, and Guangzhou– the major economic hubs in China. These cities are also home to most government entities and industrial centers. But you should not be blinded by the huge population and big economies in the cities, particularly if the nature of your business requires you to set shop in rural areas. If you have a small food business, for example, you might want to set it up in rural China as the competition in the city could be extremely fierce. If, on the other hand, you operate a tech or fashion company, you will have a better shot at success if it is located in Beijing or any other major city. Rural China isn’t very advanced in regards to technology. Another key consideration to make is your proximity to the coastline, especially if your business requires lots of importation or exportation. Your transportation and logistical needs should advise you on how deep into the inland you should go. You might also want to know how you will be getting goods to and from your location. Lastly, ensure that you understand the government inspections and restrictions that your business operations will be subjected to within your location of choice. Best Cities to Do Business in China 1. Beijing In terms of economic dynamism and competitiveness, Beijing tops all of the other major Chinese cities. The city’s economic and financial strength is in its post-modern infrastructure- The city’s transport and telecommunications sectors are among the best in the world. On the other hand, local authorities in Beijing have made sufficient and genuine efforts towards making the city’s business policies conducive for both local and international companies. Therefore, there are highly professional headhunter Chinese companies that help newly established businesses find and recruit skilled employees. 2. Guangzhou About 70% of Guangzhou’s economy is dominated by agriculture, manufacturing, and service industries. It is arguably among the top manufacturing and shipping hubs in China. Being the 3rd-largest city in the country with over 13 million dwellers, this city provides multinational companies with a huge and diverse market. It also borders Hong Kong and that makes the population of wealthy Chinese even higher. Guangzhou also welcomes millions of immigrants every year, which makes it one of the most culturally diverse cities world over. The immigrants provide multinational companies with both a ready market and a ready workforce. 3. Shanghai Shanghai is China’s biggest trading port, finance center, and industrial city. It actually is the most important economic hub in the Far East. Deep Water Port, Aviation Port, and Information Port are all found here. For air transport, Hongqiao and Pudong Airports make Shanghai very accessible from across the world. The city experiences the pleasant northern subtropical maritime monsoon climate Shanghai bigger part of the year- plenty of rain and abundant sunshine during the day. That makes it prime for agricultural activity. It also means plenty of raw materials for manufacturing firms. In conclusion Are you a company owner or manager trying to penetrate the Chinese market? If you are, don’t make the mistake of recruiting under-qualified personnel. There are professional employer organisations that will recruit the right staff for you at a very affordable charge. When you hire a recruitment agency, you are able to repurpose your energy and time to rolling out the core infrastructure of your company.
